Songbird Sara Jewelry

Whenever I see this ring, I'm filled with happy memories of the wonderful day when I acquired it! One of the most beautiful aspects of my time in Switzerland was being able to hear live music again, and was even more fortunate to have been able to hear live music performed so beautifully by people whom I love and care about! On the day that this beautiful ring came into my possession, I had the opportunity to reconnect with a very dear old friend and hear her perform an incredible program of rarely performed medieval music in one of the beautiful old churches in the center of the city! She and I had trained together at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and had not seen each other in 10 years! Somehow we always just missed each other on our travels around the world, but by some great fortune, we were now both in the small Swiss city of St. Gallen at the exact same time! I wore this ring stacked with my favorite bands on my right hand, and as the mysterious melodies floated around me, I couldn't help but admire how the old mine cut diamond glimmered and glinted in the dim lamplight and the light of the sun setting through the stained glass windows.

This beautiful ring is crafted from 18k gold, was assayed in France, and features a delightfully chunky off-round old mine cut that is so lively and full of sparkle that my camera had a very hard time focussing on it! The diamond measures an average of 3.80mm in diameter, has some warmth but faces up blindingly white, and is beautifully eye clean. It is delightfully wonky and full of character, just the way I love my old mines! The band is 2.54mm wide and the setting rises 5.42mm from top of finger. This ring is currently a size 5.25 and can be easily sized by a trusted jeweler.
