This beautiful antique Victorian brooch c. 1850s-1860s was made in the Etruscan Revival style and features beautifully detailed engraving throughout. It is named for the character Amelia in Verdi's 1857 opera Simon Boccanegra. It is crafted from 10k gold which has a beautiful patina and a slightly rosy hue (thought not as pink as some). Its defining feature is a hinged portion on the bottom which adds lovely movement to the piece. It measures 33.6mm x 36.5mm and weighs 3.5 grams.
All pieces will be sent with tracking and insurance. A signature will be required for delivery for added security. Sales are final, however, if there is a problem, please contact me ASAP so I can resolve the issue. I want all of my customers to love these jewels as much as I do!.
