This exquisite antique Victorian Bohemian garnet ring appears to have originally been a brooch or button which was later converted into a ring. The garnets are a luscious color and beautifully set together like juicy pomegranate seeds! They are set in a gold silver alloy (typical of bohemian garnet pieces of this era), with the rest of the ring components done in 14k (tested). The conversion was very well done, with an elegant tapered gallery and lovely split shank. The rose cut garnets glow from within with unparalleled brights reds that look like embers glowing within the stones when the light hits them. They are in beautiful antique condition, with only a few abrasions and pits commensurate with age. The face of the ring measures 17.94mm in diameter and rises 9.86mm from the top of the finger at its highest point. It is currently a size 5 and can be sized by a trusted jeweler.
