This beautiful ring c. 1920s-1930s features beautiful filigree work and holds a vibrant green synthetic (lab created) emerald measuring 8.17mm x 6.67mm. The use of lab created gemstones was common during the art deco era, and jewelers were very excited by the convergence of beauty and industrial/technological advances that they represented. The emerald has visible facet and table abrasions, but is still incredibly bright and shining! It is held in place by tab prongs, and though they could stand to be tightened a bit, are still very secure. The ring rises 8.3mm from the top of the finger. It is currently a size 7 and can be easily sized by a trusted jeweler.
