Songbird Sara Jewelry

This beautiful 18k rose gold, turquoise, and pearl half hoop band bears the hallmark of E.L. Weimann, a jeweler in Copenhagen, Denmark who had a workshop from 1897-1937. The ring is stamped 18k and 765, signifying that the fineness of the gold is actually greater than 18k (which is marked 750). 765 gold is more commonly found in Danish pieces and would be known to a Danish consumer, however the 18k mark would have been added for export purposes. This ring was sourced in Berlin. The rose gold color is really exceptional. It is very deep and more of a golden peach rather than the pinker color of rose gold that we see on the market today. It looks absolutely scrumptious next to the vibrant natural turquoise stones. The oval turquoise cabochons vary in color, with the outermost two showing a bluer hue, and the center stone showing more green. They have some light tan veining, which sets these natural antique beauties apart from so much of the treated and reconstituted turquoises on the market today. They are flanked by two lovely and lustrous pearls and set off my seed pearl accents. This ring is currently a size 6.25 and can be easily sized by a trusted jeweler. The face of the ring measures 15.18mm across the top of the finger, so it is not advisable to size this ring below a size 4.5-5. The ring is 6.3mm at its widest point, tapers down to 1.43mm at the bottom of the band, and rises 3.64mm from the top of the finger. Total weight of 2.4 grams. This band stacks beautifully and would add so much lively color to your collection.
