This beautiful ring is a perfect snapshot of the transitional style of the late 1930s/early 1940s: it is unmistakably Art Deco with its architectural glamour, and also unmistakably Retro with it's iconic tank shape and the use of rose and white gold, diamonds, and rubies. It is a heavy and luxurious ring weighing 6.2 grams, and features square cut rubies (synthetic), and a transitional cut diamond measuring 4mm in diameter. The diamond is well cut and lively, however, under magnification you can see some clarity characteristics and a very small fleabite around the girdle. These do not detract from its beauty when viewed with the naked eye. There are also some abrasions on the rubies, commensurate with age. This ring is a size 5 and can be easily sized by a trusted jeweler. There is evidence of previous sizing and the slightly off-round shape of the band shows that it was originally a larger size and can be sized up again.
All pieces will be sent with tracking and insurance. A signature will be required for delivery for added security. Sales are final, however, if there is a problem, please contact me ASAP so I can resolve the issue. I want all of my customers to love these jewels as much as I do!.
