This beautiful midcentury 14k brooch has such fluidity in its design that it almost appears to be carried on the wind or floating on the water. It was manufactured by Bickson, Inc. a fine jewelry company located on NYC's 5th Avenue during the 1950s, and comes to us from the estate of a prominent physician who was a pioneer in her field during that time. The brooch features the kind of blindingly bright, early modern round brilliant diamonds that we associate with the era. It measures 4.08mm in diameter with a calculated weight of 0.24cts, has G/H color, and SI1 clarity (eye clean). The brooch measures 1.51" by 1.60" and weighs 9.9 grams.
